Lillian B (Brown) Loughran

Mrs. Lillian B. Loughran age 84 of Salem passed away Thursday, January 22 at Northwood.
Mrs. Loughran was born August 12, 1930 in Clay County, Kentucky the daughter of Clarence Calvin and Nora Hammons Brown. She was a former teacher’s aid for Eastern School. She was a member of Blue River Baptist Church, Red Hat Society and Writer’s Bloc.
Lillian married Luther Loughran on October 6, 1950 and he preceded her in death on January 21, 1999. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, 1 sister and her parents. She is survived by her son and daughter in law: Luther Neal Loughran and Teresa Burns Loughran of Salem, two brothers: Billy Brown of Gotha, Florida and Charles Brown of Buchanan, Tennessee and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Blue River Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8PM and Tuesday from 9AM-time of service.
