Leonard W. Marion Jr.

Leonard W. Marion Jr. from Hardinsburg Indiana, passed away at his home in Hardinsburg on March 16, 2023. Leonard was the son of Kathern Loyd Gardner (Cecil) and Leonard W. Marion Sr.

Leonard was born on April 30, 1953, at his home in Hardinsburg Indiana.

Leonard was a student at West Washington School. He worked as a diesel mechanic for 40 years at J Edinger & Sons in Louisville Kentucky. Leonard enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars and riding his Harley. To know him was to love him.

Leonard was the father of two children. Greg A Marion (April) and Christy Marion Zweydorff (Jeremy). He has 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Leonard had 4 siblings. Janice Elrod (Tom), Dale Marion (Linda), Allen Gardner and Linda Brough (Larry).

Leonard was preceded in death by his mother Kathern Loyd Gardner, stepfather Cecil Gardner and his father Leonard W. Marion Sr.

Services will be held at Weathers Funeral Home Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be Monday March 20 from 4:00pm-8:00pm and Tuesday March 21 from 11- time of services. Burial will be at Mt. Tabor cemetery following the service.
