Leona B. Baker

Leona B. Baker, age 87 of Salem, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Salem Crossing.

Mrs. Baker was born October 15, 1937 in Pekin, the daughter of Everett Leach and Dorothy Wade Leach. She was a member of the Pekin Church of God. Leona retired from Smith Cabinet. 

Mrs. Baker is survived by her daughter, Connie Carmichael of Seymour, a sister, Shirley Mull of Salem and two grandchildren, Shannon and Eric. 

Mrs. Baker is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Baker. She is also preceded by her parents, two daughters, Linda Marion and Elaine Baker, two brothers, Roger Leach and Howard Leach, and her sister Margaret Harter.

A graveside service was chosen and it will be private for the family.
