Mr. Kenneth Walton, age 72, of Salem, passed away Saturday, December 5 at Baptist Health Floyd.
Mr. Walton was born April 18, 1948 in Salem the son of Hobart and Viola Mount Walton. He was a retired truck driver and also retired from the heating, air and refrigeration business. He was a member of Safe Harbor Christian Church in Henryville, DAV Chapter 72, American Legion, and Canton Lions Club. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran.
Kenneth is survived by his wife: Sherry L. Payne Walton. They were married June 30, 1987. He is also survived by two sons: Kenny Walton Jr. of Salem, and Jefferey Scott Walton (Karen) of Chesterfield, Virginia, two daughters: Celeste McCleery of Scottsburg and Amanda Caldwell (Jeff) of Salem, two sisters: Lisa Tyler (Jim) of Salem and Barbara Vogel (Don) of Columbus, Indiana, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a brother: Carey L. Walton, a nephew: Chris A. Walton and his parents.
