Kemal Soydemir

Mr. Kemal Soydemir, age 54, of New Pekin, formerly of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts and Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at his home.

Kemal was born January 15, 1968, in Gloucester, Massachusetts the son of Cetin and Shirley Franklin Soydemir.  He attended high school at Tyngsboro High School and was a former employee of Wal-Mart in New Albany, Indiana. He never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him.  He will be missed.

Kemal was the loving husband of Lori Fleming Soydemir, Dad “Daddy” by choice to: Brett Tanksley (Kendra), Bailee Tanksley, Paul Jarrels (Jessica), Jason Jarrels, and Joseph David Jarrels.  He was grandpa to: Chase Michael Wayne Tanksley, Luna Belle Iris Tanksley, and Juniper Jo-Anne Tanksley.  He was son-in-law to: Leroy and Iris Sue Johnson Fleming, and an uncle to many nieces and nephews.  He was also loved by his many cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law:  Iris Sue Johnson Fleming, and parents:  Cetin Soydemir and Shirley Franklin Soydemir.
