Katherine W (Walt) Leedy

Katherine W. Leedy, age 98, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, May 7, at Salem Crossing.

Katherine was born March 16, 1921 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of George and Elizabeth Mahuron Walt.   She was retired from the Brown Hotel in Louisville.

She is survived by a daughter:  Hilan “Susie” Peat of Salem, a son:  Ronald Leedy, Mangum, Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and dear friends:  Sandy and Ray Graham of Salem.   She was preceded in death by two sons:  Donald Leedy and Lonnie Leedy, a brother: William Walt, a sister:  Elizabeth, a grandson and her parents.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 1:00PM at Crown Hill Cemetery.
