Mrs. Juanita A. Wyman age 87 of Salem passed away Wednesday, June 11 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Wyman was born February 17, 1927 in White Pigeon, Michigan the daughter of Christopher and Marguerite Purlee Kay. She was a retired Nurse’s aide for Washington County Memorial Hospital and a homemaker. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ. She graduated from Pekin High School in 1945.
Juanita married Ralph Wyman in 1946 and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1995. She is also preceded in death by her parents, a brother: James Kay and two sisters: Betty Ann Wilson and Alice Marie Stivers.
She is survived by two daughters: Christina Wyman of Charleston, West Virgina and Pamela Robinson (Randy) of Salem, a brother: Marion “Pete” Kay of Phoenix, Arizona, one sister: Ellen Rose Chastain of Atlanta, Georgia, a grandson: Phillip Robinson (Kim), two step-grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8PM and Saturday from 9AM-time of service.
