Joyce Ann Trueblood

Mrs. Joyce Ann Trueblood, age 78, of Pekin, passed away Monday, December 16 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Trueblood was born December 8, 1946 in Wyoming, the daughter of Floyd and Marjorie Stahl Gale. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. 

On May 26, 1972 she married Paul Trueblood, he preceded her in death on August 14, 2016. She is also preceded in death by a brother: Punk Gale, and her parents. 

Joyce is survived by a son: Joshua Paul Trueblood of Gilbert, AZ, two daughters: Shaunette Jenkins of Salem, and Sarah Parker of Corydon, three brothers: Walter Gale, Floyd Gale Jr., and Marvin Gale, ten grandchildren: Kara Sparrow, Ashley Engle, Nicholas Jenkins, Jacob Jenkins, Adrianna Jenkins, Gus Trueblood, June Trueblood, Jonah Trueblood, Phoebe Trueblood, and Jon-Luc Parker, and ten great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3-7PM and Friday from 9AM-until time of service.
