Mrs. Joyce Ann Hoevener age 85 of Brownstown, passed away at Schneck Medical Center on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.
Mrs. Hoevener was born July 29, 1932 in Montrose, Colorado to the late Alonzo and Madge L. Christensen Garrison. She married the late Roy Henry Hoevener on May 22, 1948 in Manchester, Kentucky.
She attended Tampico Christian Church. She was the retired owner of Hoevener Jersey farm and also retired from Excello Shirt Factory in Seymour. She enjoyed her farm, family and friends.
Joyce will be missed by two daughters: Rita (Wayne) Wischmeier of Brownstown and Yvonne Cottey of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, two sons: Lonnie (Katrina) Hoevener of Brownstown and Jeff (Nathalia) Hoevener of Crothersville, nine grandchildren: Wayne Dale (Donna) Wischmeier , Stephen (Beth) Wischmeier , Melissa (Brian) Bottorff , Rebecca (Dave) Rayfield , Tiffany (Kevin) Campbell , Bridgette (Marc) Hutcheson , Cortney (Stan) Burnside , Jeffrey (Carey) Hoevener and Kara (John) Burcham , 23 great-grandchildren: Houston, Rylea, Brayen Wischmeier, Britney, Jack, Craig Wischmeier, Breonna, Brocker and Brooklyn Bottorff, Erin and Kaitlyn Farley, Anthony Rayfield, and Jackson and Kenzie Lashley, Samantha, Matthew, Mitchel and Madden Hutcheson, Logan and Gracie Burnside, Hannah and Evan Stahl and Colton Burcham, two sisters: Sherrie (Gary) McDowell of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Dorothy (Will) Durant of Nucla, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Henry Hoevener, two sisters: Charlene Muirhead and Elaine Oliver, son-in-law: John “Tug” Cottey and her parents.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4:00PM at Tampico Christian Church with Pastor Randy King officiating. Friends may call from 2-4PM Sunday at the church.
