Joyce Kathryn (Willis) Allen

Mrs. Joyce Kathryn Allen age 99 of Salem passed away Sunday, November 19 at Salem Crossing.
Mrs. Allen was born June 3, 1918 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of Walter and Mary Edthington Willis. She was a Volunteer Driver for the American Cancer Society. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, Daughters of 1812, Washington County Historical Society, Hospital Auxiliary, and Friends of Becks Mill.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Estel LaRue Allen in 1981 and her parents. She is survived by her daughter: Joyce K. Andersen (Don) of Salem, two brothers: Delbert Willis of Leitchfield, Kentucky and Donald Willis of New Albany, Indiana, a sister: Naoma Fowler of Bear, Delaware and 2 grandsons.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Becks Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8PM and Friday from 9AM-time of service.
