Joseph V. Steepleton age 31 of Salem passed away Thursday, September 25 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Joseph was born March 26, 1983 in Salem the son of Robert Steepleton and Lee Ann Dixon Steepleton. He was a cashier for FastMax in Salem.
He is survived by his children: Trey Weston and Gavin McNeely both of Salem and Brody Steepleton of Henryville, his parents: Lee Ann and Michael Markum and Robert and Becky Steepleton all of Salem, four brothers: Ryan Steepleton of Salem, Matthew Markum of Salem, Nick Jones (Jessica) of Scottsburg and Ross Jones of Ft. Myers, Florida, and grandparents: Billie and Stanley Satterwhite and Linda Dixon. He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Eugene Dixon.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8PM and Tuesday from 9AM-time of service.
