Jonathan E. Helmuth, 52, of Salem, son of Emil and Edna Slabaugh Helmuth of Bellafontaine, Ohio, born October 26, 1969.  He died August 27, 2022, due to a tractor accident.  On April 25, 1991, he married Lora Jane Yoder.  He is survived by his wife and parents.

Also surviving are 9 sons and 2 daughters, Keith Philip (Rhoda Miller) of Medina, New York, Lyle Justin (and special friend Kendra Burkholder), Brent Anthony, Bethany Joyce (Caleb) Burkholder of Salem, Edwin Jesse, Myron Jon, Maynard Duane, Gerald Thomas, Lynn Alan, Loren Loyal, Breanna Jewel, all at home.  Grandchildren are Katelyn Dawn Burkholder and Kendall Derek Helmuth.

Siblings are Ernest (Virginia) of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Edith (Edward) Wanner of Reed City, Michigan, Nancy (Enos) Troyer of Greenville, Pennsylvania, Norma (Joseph) Miller of Lyons, Indiana, Kathryn (Rueben) Swarey of Mannsville, New York, Harlan (Joanna) of Amesville, Ohio, currently serving in Bolivia, South America, and Marvin (Nancy) of Rushylvania, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30AM at Miller’s Mini Barns with Josie Miller, Paul E. Miller and Matthew Yoder officiating.  Burial will follow in Twin Oaks Amish Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8PM and Monday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM.
