Joe A Moore

Mr. Joe A. Moore age 76 of Salem passed away Wednesday, January 29 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.
Mr. Moore was born July 3, 1937 in Greencastle, Indiana the son of Ira and Jennie Butler Moore. He was a Pharmacist and had worked for and owned Value Plus Pharmacy. He most recently had worked for Butts Drugs in Corydon and Dan-Mar and Salem Apothecary in Salem. He was a member of Gideons International Washington County Camp and Mt. Tabor Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife: Janice D. Graves/Baughman Moore. He is also survived by three sons: Jay Moore (Christina) of Salem, Barry J. Moore (Cathy) of Bloomington and Walter Eric Cameron (Izze) of Evansville, three daughters: Sallie B. Moore of Bloomington, Mary Beth Mikolaitis (Peter) of Bloomington and Malissa Waterford (Jason) of Bloomington, a sister: Norma Duncan of Indianapolis, 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8PM and Tuesday from 9Am-time of service.
