Mr. Jesse McClure age 78 of Salem passed away Friday, August 22 at Salem Crossing.
Mr. McClure was born May 26, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky the son of Perscilla Charles and Lula Norton McClure. He was retired from Hoosier Welding Supplies. He was a member of Canton Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife: Virginia Nicholson McClure. They were married July 26, 1958. He is also survived by two daughters: Marchita Roseberry (Mark) and Teresa Brewer (Donnie) of Salem, two brothers: Arles McClure of Salem and Jack McClure of Seymour, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Charles and R.L. and sisters: Doris, Bonnie and Nettie.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10AM-time of service.
