Jerry Lee Baker

March 2, 1945 — February 25, 2013

Mr. Jerry L. Baker age 67 of Salem passed away Monday, February 25 at his home.

Mr. Baker was born March 2, 1945 in Salem the son of Charles E. and Alice Davis Baker.  He was a retired farmer and a former electronics technician for Wabash Data Tech in Paoli and RCA in Bloomington. He was a member of Indiana State Bee Keeper's Association and Farm Bureau Board.  He was an instructor for 4-H Hunter Education.

He is survived by his wife:  Aleta Murphy Baker.  They were married September 10, 1966.  He is also  survived by a son:  Bryan Baker of Evansville, a daughter:  Cara Thurman of Paoli, a sister:  Eva Joan Henderson of Mississippi, and 3 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother:  John Baker and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Kansas Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8PM and Friday from 9AM-time of service.
