Jerald M. Humphrey

Mr. Jerald M. Humphrey, age 87, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, May 19 at Salem Crossing.

Mr. Humphrey was born May 10, 1934 in Campbellsburg the son of Roger and LaVere Rosenbaum Humphrey. Jerald was the former Manager at Farmers PCA in Salem, and the Owner of Humphrey Real Estate. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Christian Church, Gideons International, and the Army National Guard.

Jerald is survived by his wife: Lynda Freeman Humphrey they were married July 9, 1961. He is also survived by a son: Greg Humphrey (Shelby) of Bloomington, a daughter: Jana Russell (Darrin) of Campbellsburg, four brothers: Donald Humphrey of Santa Rosa, CA, Harold Humphrey of Salem, Dean Humphrey of Fruitland Park, FL, and Roddy Humphrey of Salem, a sister: Martha Nixon of Australia, and five grandchildren: Logan Humphrey, Bailey King (Luke), Mallory Humphrey, Rian Russell and Holden Russell.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a step-brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday, May 24 at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Livonia Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-7PM at the funeral home.
