Jean Carol (McCoy) Davidson

Mrs. Jean Carol Davidson, age 79, of Salem, passed away Thursday, August 26 at Meadow View Health Care Center in Salem.

Mrs. Davidson was born August 30, 1941 in Waverly, Ohio the daughter of Harley McCoy and Jeanetta Skidmore.  She was a member of Highland Missionary Baptist Church.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband:  Oliver Davidson on July 2, 1998.  She was also preceded in death by a brother:  Clint McCoy and her parents.

She is survived by one son:  Oliver Wayne Davidson of Salem, two daughters:  Jeanetta Walton of Salem and Tammy Davidson of Florence, Kentucky, a brother:  Harley McCoy of Harrison, Ohio, 9 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday from 11AM-time of service.
