James "Tony" Anthony Hessig

Mr. James “Tony” Anthony Hessig, age 68, of Salem, passed away, Saturday October 19 at Norton Clark Hospital. 

Mr. Hessig was born November 25, 1955 in Clark County the son of Harold Hessig and Barbara Naylor Mason. Tony was a 181st Airborne, Army Veteran. He was a former employee of Kimball International, and construction worker. Tony was a member of New Beginning Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son: James Hessig Jr. of Campbellsburg, three brothers: William Mason of Irvington, KY, Darrell Waggoner of Elkton, KY, and Jeff Waggoner of Madison, four sisters: Gina Knight of Pekin, Lore Koranda of Panama City Beach, FL, Cindy Gibson of Salem, and Jody Rose of Salem, and four grandchildren: Kalijah, Waylon, Karson, and Memphis. 

He is preceded in death by his wife: Jennifer Hardwick Hessig they were married in 2012. He is also preceded in death by his parents. 

A visitation will be held Friday from 4PM to 7PM at Weathers Funeral Home.
