James E. Mills

Mr. James E. "Dickie" Mills, age 84, of Crothersville, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

Mr. Mills was born April 2, 1941 in Willard, Ohio the son of Jesse Mills and Marie Dunn Mills. He was retired from Walmart Distribution Center. He was a member of Frontline Christian Ministries.

Dickie was survived by his wife: Elma Fox Mills, 4 children: James Richard Mills of Milton, FL, Robin Mills of Milton, FL, Amos Mills of Salem, and Lola Kramer of Salem, 11 grandchildren: Tonya Campbell, Kristin Burman, Derek Mills, Adam Mills, Miranda Jarvis, Kody Kramer, Logan Kramer, Joshua Guilford, Tyler Narvel, Sycia Miller, and Jacob Mills, 12 great-grandchildren, and 9 siblings: JB "Buddy" Mills of Scottsburg, Myrtle Smith of Madison, Tim Mills of Scottsburg, Patricia Craft of Portsmith, OH, and Roger Lee Mills of Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by a daughter: Janice Fleenor (Sis), a brother: Jesse Mills, 3 sisters: Christine Seums, Jewell McCarty, Brenda Hoskins and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Friday at Weathers Funeral Home at 106 S. Shelby Street Salem, IN 47167. Burial will follow in Conway Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 10AM-until time of service.
