James Mike Gibbons

Mr. James Mike Gibbons age 73 of Salem passed away Tuesday, December 19 at Salem Crossing.
Mr. Gibbons was born June 14, 1944 in Marysville, Indiana the son of Pete and Burgess Mitchell Gibbons. He was a retired employee of Link Handle Company. He was of the Christian faith. He was a member of Washington County Coon Hunter’s Association and National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Pat Riley Gibbons. They were married March 22, 1963. He is also survived by three sons: Dale Gibbons (Tabitha), Lynn Gibbons (Brenda Carol), and Troy Lane (Nancy) Gibbons all of Salem, two brothers: David Ray Gibbons of Campbellsburg and John Ray Gibbons of Charlestown, 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Petie Mac Gibbons, Amie Lewis Gibbons, Anglois “Andy” Gibbons , two sisters: Melliodean May Scott and Susie Imogene Johns and his parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10Am-time of service.
