Ivalou (Colglazier) Chastain

Ivalou Chastain age 96 of Salem passed away Monday, May 21 at 7:20PM at Salem Crossing.
Mrs. Chastain was born September 30, 1915 in Bromer, Indiana the daughter of Perry Edison and Edith Colglazier. She was a retired employee of B.F. Goodrich. She was a member of Westview Christian Church and Ladies Aid, Livonia Rebekah's Lodge, and Christopher Harrison Chapter of DAR.
She married Herman Herbert Chastain on January 16, 1933 and he preceded her in death in 1993 after 60 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by a son: Clifford Dean Chastain, a daughter: Phyllis June Chastain, three brothers: Ivan, Robert and Edward Colglazier, a great-grandchild and her parents.
She is survived by one son: Mike (Kristi) Chastain of Brownstown, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
