Irvin E Naugle

Mr. Irvin E. Naugle age 85 of Salem, passed away peacefully at 1:40AM, March 1, 2018 at Salem Crossing.

He was born July 11, 1932 in Salem, Indiana the son of the late Frank and Edith Wolff Naugle.

He was preceded in death by his brothers: (infant) Charles Naugle, Donald Naugle and a great-grand daughter: (infant) Delainy Sage Cutrell.

Irvin married Carol Jean Hobbs on August 9, 1958, she survives.  Also surviving are his children:  Vickey Sumpter (Pat) of Richmond, Kentucky and Gregory Naugle (Linda) of Salem, grandchildren:  Thomas Cutrell (Katie) of Brownsburg, Indiana and Chelsea Carnine (James) of Rockville, Indiana, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Irvin retired from Cummins Engine in Seymour, Indiana.  He was a 1950 graduate of Salem High School.  Irvin was a veteran of the Unites States Air Force, serving 10 years.  He was a great dad and will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 6, at 1PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery with military honors.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 11AM-time of service.
