Mr. Hobart Ray Chastain age 81 passed away Tuesday, September 10 in Georgia.
Mr. Chastain was born July 19, 1932 in Campbellsburg, Indiana the son of Harold C. and Mary Brown Chastain.
He is survived by his daughter: Donna Aley of Vancouver, Washington, two step-sons: Barry Lee Herrington of Henderson, Nevada and Garnett Ray Herrington of Vancouver, Washington, two brothers: Tom and Dennis Chastain both of Salem, a sister: Lou Ann Hamilton of Salem, 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Jeffery Scott Chastain, five brothers: Jimmy, Marvin, Hubert, Merle and Melvin Chastain and two sisters: Rhetta Durden and Betty Hardin.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2:00PM at Old Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from Noon-1:30PM at Weathers Funeral Home.
