Mr. Herman Jackson age 86 of Salem passed away Tuesday, May 15 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Jackson was born December 17, 1925 in Waynesburg, Kentucky the son of Roland E. and Ludia Belle Cook Jackson. He was retired Sexton for Crown Hill Cemetery. He was a member of Salem Church of the Nazarene and an Army World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Peggy Chaney Jackson, his parents, brothers: Herbert, Odessa, Clayton, Binford and Roland Jackson Jr., a sister: Nila Allen and a grandson; Chad Stivers.
He is survived by a son: Nathan Jackson of Salem, two daughters: Odetta Hart of Campbellsburg and Susan Jackson of Salem, a brother: Melvin Jackson of Naples. Florida, a sister: Ludia Middleton of Columbus, Ohio, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandhcildren.
