Henry Zielsdorf

Mr. Henry Zielsdorf, age 84, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, August 14 at Salem Crossing.

Mr. Zielsdorf was born March 18, 1940, in Illinois, the son of William F. and Cora M. Lasher Zielsdorf. He was a retired security worker. He was a Navy veteran and then served in the National Guard. He attended Westside Baptist Church.

Henry was preceded in death by his first and second wives: Ann Byrd Zielsdorf and Vera Woolridge Zielsdorf. He was also preceded in death by a son: John Zielsdorf and a daughter: Mary Elizabeth Zielsdorf, and his parents. He is survived by two sons: George Zielsdorf and Timothy Zielsdorf, a brother: Earl Zielsdorf, two sisters: Martha Settles and Tillie Mollet, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in Virginia and burial will be in Quantico National Cemetery.
