Helen Ruth (Miller) Brown

Mrs. Helen Ruth Brown age 90 of Salem passed away Thursday, December 20 at Meadow View Health Care and Rehab.

Mrs. Brown was born October 21, 1922 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of Dewey and Gladys Turner Miller.  She was a member of Big Spring Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband: Elmo Brown of Salem, a son:  Alan Brown of Simpsonville, Kentucky, a daughter:  Barbara Tempel of Columbus, Indiana, three sisters: Wilma Miller, Maxine Hattabaugh and Ilene Purlee all of Pekin, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a daughter:  Janet Trueblood, her parents, a brother:  Harold Miller, and two sisters:  Pauline Lee and Mildred Brown.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Big Spring Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8PM and Monday from 9AM-time of service.
