Hazel M (Baylor) Buchanan

Mrs. Hazel M. Buchanan age 93 of Salem passed away Tuesday, June 16 at Meadow View Health Care Center.
Mrs. Buchanan was born June 8, 1922 in Crawford County, Indiana the daughter of Hugh and Nell Radcliff Baylor. She graduated from Paoli High School, class of 1940. She was a retired employee of Smith Cabinet.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband: Loran E. Buchanan, twin sons: Earl Eickelberger (Rhonda) and Merle Eickelberger, daughter in law: Billie Jean Eickelberger, brother: Knoefel Baylor, three sisters: Eula Pirtle, Ruth DeWeese Cummins and Elizabeth Totten and her parents.
She is survived by a son: Jim Eickelberger (Stella) of Salem, two daughters: Rita Tucker (Terry) of New Albany and Doris Atchley (Ova) of Salem, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Union Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10AM-time of service.
