Harvey Thurtston Jackson

Mr. Harvey Thurston Jackson age 70 of Salem passed away Friday, August 30 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Jackson was born April 18, 1943 in Clark County, Indiana the son of Harvey Jackson and Ruth VanGilder Jackson Hazelwood. He was a member of a non-denominational church and was a former member of the National Guard.
He is survived by his mother: Ruth Hazelwood of Salem, five brothers: Kenny Jackson and Marshall Jackson both of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mike Jackson of Texas, Darrell Jackson of Salem and Herbie Hazelwood of Kentucky, and three sisters: Betty Dye of Fort Wayne, Rosemary Albertson of Texas and Denise Young of Salem. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother: Larry Jackson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Grove (Wiley's Chapel) Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8PM and Tuesday from 9AM-time of service.
