Harold Lloyd Strange

Mr. Harold Lloyd Strange, age 100, of Salem, passed away, Friday, February 23 at Northwood Residences.

Mr. Strange was born October 10, 1923 in Washington County the son of Harley and Mildred Patton Strange. He was retired from Smith Cabinet. Harold was a United States Airforce Veteran. He was a member of Livonia Baptist Church.

On July 3, 1948 Harold married Betty June Nice she preceded him in death on October 19, 2011. He is also preceded in death by two brothers: Farrell Strange, and Ivan Strange, a sister: Margaret Kopp, and his parents. 

He is survived by a son: Kevin Strange (Marcia) of Salem, a daughter: Donna Denkevitz (Joe) of Salem, a brother: Robert Strange of Salem, four grandchildren: Laurie Snyder, Leslie Loveland, Jessica Smith, and Justin Strange, and six great-grandchildren: Drew Shaffer, Braeden Kantz, Carmen Kantz, Kennedy Loveland, Savannah Loveland, and Wyatt Smith. 

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Thursday at Livonia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Livonia Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8PM at the Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation Thursday will be held at the church from 10AM-until time of service.
