Harold Richard Agan

Mr. Harold Richard Agan age 86 of Hardinsburg died Monday, October 27 at Indiana University Health in Bedford.

Mr. Agan was born March 15, 1928 in Hardinsburg the son of Lewie and Hazel McCain Agan.  Harold was a life long resident of Washington County, a farmer his entire life, and had been Madison Township Trustee for 8 years.  He was also a precinct committeeman for several years.  He was a member of Livonia Presbyterian Church and a Korean War Army veteran.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years:  Margaret Wolfe Agan, a brother:  John Agan, two sisters:  Jean McKinney and Margaret Moore and his parents.

He is survived by two daughters:  Marsha Brewer of Salem and Jana Mahan of Hardinsburg, 2 granddaughters:  Whitney Burris (Delbert) of Salem and Astin Mahan of Hardinsburg and 1 brother:  Jim Agan (Donna) of Hardinsburg.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Livonia Cemetery with military honors.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8PM and Friday from 9AM-time of service.
