Gus Boeckmann

Mr. Gus Boeckmann, age 88, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, August 10 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville.

Mr. Boeckmann was born March 18, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of August B. and Odelia Wuebker Boeckmann.  He was retired from Salem Schools and was a Navy veteran.

Gus was preceded in death by his wife:  Annabelle Rader Boeckmann, a sister:  Carolyn and his parents.

He is survived by his daughter:  Karen Boeckmann Nelson of Louisville, two brothers:  Richard and James Boeckmann both of Louisville and a sister:  Patricia Boeckmann Stout of Louisville, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-6PM and Wednesday from 9AM-time of service.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
