Gregory Lee Shell age 49 of Salem passed away Saturday, July 25.
Mr. Shell was born July 1, 1966 in Salem the son of Preston Shell and Margaret Blevins Shell Hawes. He was an employee of Austin Tri-Hawk Automotive. He was a member of West Side Baptist Church and American Legion.
He is survived by two sons: Ryan Shell and Isaiah Shell both of Salem, a daughter: Megan Shell Young (Israel) of Salem, a step-son: Nick Richie of Columbus, two step-daughters: Tiffany Searcy of Austin and Sabrina Floyd (Brennan) of Salem, his parents: Preston and Margie Shell and Margaret Hawes all of Salem, five brothers: John Shell (Angie) of Salem, David McCormick (Carrie) of Salem, Peter McCormick (Kellie) of Pekin, Josh Hardin (Heather) of Cleveland, Ohio and Tyson Shell of Salem, two sisters: Rhonda and Hannah Shell both of Salem, and three grandchildren: Kamryn Shell, Nile and Wyatt Young. He was preceded in death by a brother: Isaiah Shell.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00AM until time of service.
