Gina M. Tanksley age 46 of Salem passed away Monday, October 14 at Jewish Hospital.
Gina was born January 28, 1967 in Floyd County, Indiana the daughter of Gary "Tony" Taylor and Janice Compton Adkins. She was a retired cosmetologist and a member of West Side Church of Christ.
She is survived by her mother: Janice Adkins of Salem, her step-father: Gary Adkins of Salem, her son: Derek Tanksley of Salem, brother: Ted Taylor of Salem, step-brother: Gary Wayne Adkins of Memphis, Indiana, step-sister: Laraine Moore of Bedford, grandmother: Vandatta Compton of Salem and 2 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father: Tony Taylor and grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Leon Taylor and George Wilmer Compton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-9PM and Thursday from 9AM-time of service.
