Geneva Bagshaw, age 82, of Pekin passed away Monday, January 9 at her home.
Mrs. Bagshaw was born January 20, 1940 in Cumberland City, Tennessee the daughter of Eulos Owen and Frances Pulley Owen. She was retired from GKN in Salem. Geneva was a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church, and was on the Pekin Town Advisory Board.
She married David A. Bagshaw on October 2, 1959 he preceded her in death on February 15, 2005. She is also preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by two sons: David Bagshaw Jr. of Salem and Joe Bagshaw (Amanda) of Pekin, a brother: Charles Owen of Louisville, two sisters: Charlotte Padilla of Battle Town, Kentucky, and Bonnie Samples of Lebanon, Kentucky, five grandchildren: Stephen Bagshaw (Lauren), Mary Bagshaw (Jerry), Dottie Roach (Josh), David Roach (Elisha), and Amberay Roach (Jonathon), and ten great-grandchildren: Hunter, Weston, Kelly, Marcus, Raelynn, Aubri, Jaliyah, Rowyn, Kailyn, and Conner.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Saturday, January 14 at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10AM-until time of service at the funeral home.
