Gary Hobbs

Mr. Gary Hobbs age 73 of Salem passed away Wednesday, June 8 at St. Vincent Hospital of Salem. Mr. Hobbs was born December 1, 1942 in Salem the son of John F. and Martha E. Etzler Hobbs. He retired in 2004 as the owner of Coots Package Store. He was a member of Salem Masonic Lodge #21, 32nd Degree Mason, Valley of Indianapolis, Murat Shirne, Friends of Becks Mill,American Legion #234 Scottsburg and NRA. He was a charter member of Salem Eagles Aerie #3516, Moose Lodge, and VFW #6636 Men's Auxiliary. He is survived by a brother: James Hobbs (Bev) of Salem. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved Yorkie companion: Ama. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8PM and Saturday from 9AM-time of service.
