Gary D Dennis

Mr. Gary D. Dennis age 57 of Livonia passed away Friday, January 31 at Floyd Memorial Hosptial.

Mr. Dennis was born August 6, 1956 in Salem the son of Donald Clarence and Helen L. Cook Dennis. He was President of Dennis Manufacturing Inc.  He was Food Service Manager for the Washington County Detention Center. He was retired as an E-7 from the Army and also served in the National Guard.  He was a former welding instructor for Lost River Career Center.  He was a member of Westview Christian Church, Livonia Fire Department, FOP, and Livonia Conservation Club.

He is survived by his wife:  Sharon Hammond Dennis.  They were married August 21, 1976.  He is also survived by a son:  Aaron Dennis (Carrie) of Livonia, a daughter:  Jenisa Collier (J.B.) of Salem, his mother:  Helen Dennis of Livonia, a sister:  Donna Dennis of Livonia and five grandchildren:  Aryann and Iziah Dennis both of Livonia and Jamesdon, Jenson and Jabe Collier all of Salem. He was preceded in death by his father: Donald C. Dennis.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00PM at Westview Christian Church.  Burial will follow in Livonia Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-9PM and Wednesday from 9-11AM at Weathers Funeral Home and Wednesday from Noon-time of service at the church.
