Evelyn Jane Meredith

Ms. Evelyn Jane Meredith, age 58, of Salem, passed away Saturday, May 4 at Nortons Women’s and Children's Hospital in Louisville .

Ms. Meredith was born May 27, 1965 in Salem the daughter of Norman Meredith and Mary Elizabeth Barrett Meredith. She was a CNA for 37 years. 

She is survived by her siblings: Pearl Corn (Garry) of Deputy, IN, Donna Potts of Borden, Faye Meredith of Salem, Connie Reynolds (Greg) of Mitchell, Barney Meredith of Pekin, Jeff Meredith (Debra) of Salem, and John Meredith (Marcy) of Salem, 9 nieces, 6 nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews. 

Evelyn is preceded in death by two sisters: Annie Wynn and Judy Jonas, one niece, one nephew, a brother-in-law: Jerry Potts, and her parents. 

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Thursday at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mentor Cemetery in Birdseye, IN. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8PM and Thursday from 10AM-until time of service.
