Mrs. Emma Jean Vandeventer Ingle age 88 of Salem passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Salem Crossing.
Mrs. Ingle was born January 27, 1927 in Walden’s Creek, Virginia the daughter of Hugh and Maggie Ramsey Vandeventer. She was a former employee of Freed’s in Jonesville, Virginia and a member of Thompson Settlement Baptist Church.
Emma Jean was preceded in death by her husband: Corbet Rex Ingle in 2000, a daughter: Sonja Vandeventer Ingle in 1958, a brother: Oscar Vandeventer, a sister: Hazel Adkins and her parents. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM Thursday at Vandeventer Cemetery in Jonesville, Virginia.
