Mr. Elmo Levi Hall, age 85, of Salem, passed away Monday, January 18, at St. Vincent Hospital in Salem.
Mr. Hall was born January 1, 1936 in Little York, Indiana the son of John F. and Sarah E. Motsinger Hall. Elmo was a class of 1955 graduate of Salem High School. He was a retired employee of Verizon Telephone Company and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife: Debra Hart Hall. They were married October 27, 1979. He is also survived by a daughter: Melinda Hall Wiggins of Salem, a step-son: Jon A. Hart of Seymour, three sisters: Ruth Evans of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Barbara Graves of Jeffersonville and Audra Payne of Salem, and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son: Eric Hall, three brothers: Scott, Sloane, and Edward Hall, four sisters: Mary Elliott, Pauline Mockabee, Elizabeth Westfall and Neva Clark, and his parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday at Weathers Funeral Home at 12:00PM. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10AM-time of service Friday.
Due to Covid restrictions, visitation will be limited to 25 people in the building at one time, and masks are required.
