Ellen M (Crane) Maupin

Mrs. Ellen M. Maupin, age 91, went home to her Lord Jesus on October 4, 2020.

Mrs. Maupin was born May 31, 1929 in Orleans, Indiana the daughter of Charles and Bethel Young Crane.  She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Hardinsburg.

Ellen was preceded in death by her husband:  James Elsworth Maupin on July 3, 2009.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers:  Marvin Crane, James Crane, and Charles Crane, a sister:  Edith Cooper, a grandson:  Justin Coots and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by two daughters:  Arlinda Swift (Mike) of Harrison, Tennessee and Denise Coots (Stephen) of Hardinsburg, Indiana, and two sons:  Brent Maupin (Carrie) of Greenville, North Carolina, and Trent Maupin (Lori) Ashland City, Tennessee, , two brothers:  Arvil Crane (Ann) of Louisville, Kentucky, Olen Crane of Fredericksburg, a twin sister:  Helen Byerly (Ray) of Palmyra, 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Kays Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10AM-time of service at Weathers Funeral Home.
