Elizabeth Ann Smith

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Smith, age 95, of Salem, passed away Friday, August 25 at Salem Crossing.

Mrs. Smith was born October 11, 1927 in Washington County the daughter of Henry Knight and Mary Brunson Karnes. She was a retired restaurant worker in Rockville, IN, and from Amaray in Pekin. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a lover of animals, cooking, and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Robert Smith, a son: Mark Steven Smith, three brothers: Ralph Dotts, Jimmy Dotts, and Merle Armstrong, two sisters: Opal Gray and Edith Howard, and her parents.

She is survived by a granddaughter: Tena McVay, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Tuesday at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10AM-until time of service at the funeral home.
