Effie Marie Miller

Effie Marie Miller, 71, passed away April 2, 2023 at Baptist Health Floyd, New Albany.

She was born August 15, 1951 in Knox County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Marsh Mills and Lula Bailey Mills. Effie was a homemaker and a member of the Salem Wesleyan Church.

Effie is survived by her three children, Kenneth Miller (Sycia) of Campbellsburg, Loretta Burris (Randy) of Salem and Connie Gahimer (Clay) of Salem. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and four sisters, Judy Gibson, Sue Bates, Betty Lawson and Cathy Gambrel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marsh Mills and Lula Bailey Mills, two brothers, Elbert Mills and Gene Messer and one sister, Julia Souder.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2:00P.M at Weathers Funeral Home, with visitation from 10:00A.M to time of service. Final resting place will be Marsh Mills Cemetery in Knox County, Kentucky.
