Edward Charles Lawson

Mr. Edward Charles Lawson age 77 of Pekin passed away Saturday, May 24 at his home.

Mr. Lawson was born July 24, 1936 in Scottsburg, Indiana the son of Elwin and Katherine Wagoner Lawson.  He was a retired employee of Tecumseh.  He was a member of Borden Christian Church and attended Pekin United Methodist Church.  He was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife:  Benita Cauble Lawson.  They were married October 17, 1958.  He is also survived by his son:  Kevin Lawson (Brenda) of Pekin, a brother:  Don R. Lawson of Palmyra, a sister:  Kathie Lawson of Louisville, 5 grandchildren:  Myles and Marshall Lawson, Valerie White, Veronica Livers and Jessica Smith and 6 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister:  Elaine Lawson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 9AM-time of service.
