Duane Eugene Miller

Mr. Duane E. Miller age 83 of Salem passed away Monday, April 15 at Meadow View Heatlh Care Center in Salem.
Mr. Miller was born April 22, 1929 in Miltonvale, Kansas the son of Silas and Blanche Hardesty Miller. He was retired from B.F. Goodrich in Louisville. He was a Korean War Navy veteran and a member of the Tin Can Sailors, VFW and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife: Bonnie Huff Miller. They were married February 5, 1955. He is also survived by a son: Scott D. Miller of Salem, a daughter: Lisa Brewer of Salem, and 2 grandchildren: Lindsey and Trevor Brewer and a great-granddaughter: Marley Brewer. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Ralph, Jake and Melvin Miller and a sister: Anna Breen.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8PM and Thursday from 9AM-time of service.
