Donna Jean Prevec

Donna Jean Prevec, age 81, of Pekin, passed away Saturday, February 24 in her home, surrounded by her family. 

Donna was born August 10, 1942, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of William and Anna Gradski Prevec.  She attended Ursuline High School, Class of 1960.  Donna retired from US Steel/USS Kobe, after many years as an executive secretary.  After retirement, she helped with homeschooling of her grandchildren.  She was an artist and avid bowler and golfer. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers: Richard and Frank Prevec.  She is survived by her daughter:  Deniseann Stempowski (Edward) of Pekin, and grandchildren:  Jennifer Stempowski, Edward “David” Stempowski, Anthony Stempowski, Stephanie Ward (Keenan), and Adam Stempowski.  

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 6:30PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-time of service at the funeral home. 

Memorial donations may be made to ASPCA, as Donna was an avid contributor.
