Donald Lee Qualkinbush

Mr. Donald Lee Qualkinbush age 77 of Salem passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Mr. Qualkinbush was born September 1, 1940 in Campbellsburg the son of Everett Earl and Wilma Hedrick Qualkinbush.  He was a self employed well driller and school bus driver for West Washington Schools.  He was a member of Westview Christian Church.

Don is survived by his wife:  Karen Chastain Qualkinbush.  They were married March 19, 1961.  He is also survived by one son:  Trent Qualkinbush (Debbie) of Fountaintown, Indiana, three daughters:  Meleah Johnson (Jimmy) of Campbellsburg, Yvette Persinger (Gary) of Salem and Christina Worley of Campbellsburg, a son-in-law:  Lee Badger of Campbellsburg, a sister:  Helen Chastain of Salem, 14 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.  He was preceded in death by a daughter:  Melissa Badger and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Westview Christian Church with Jim Applegate and Jimmy Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM at Weathers Funeral Home and Wednesday from 10AM-time of service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Claysville Cemetery.
