Dean R Shepherd

Mr. Dean R. Shepherd Sr. age 82 of Salem passed away Monday, December 24 in an accident on Highway 56 and Shields Road.

Mr. Shepherd was born September 4, 1930 in Williamsport, Indiana the son of Thadeus and Edith Thompson Shepherd.  He was a greeter for Wal-Mart in Scottsburg.

He is survived by his sons:  Dean R. Shepherd Jr. and Andy Shepherd, his fiance:  Gladys Chavez, 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 5 at Noon at Weathers Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Saturday, January 5 from 10:00AM-time of service.

The family requests no flowers and asks that expressions of sympathy be made to Riley's Children's Hospital in memory of Mr. Shepherd.
