David Crain

Mr. David Crain, age 77, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, June 23 at Hosparus Inpatient Unit in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mr. Crain was born August 27, 1942 in Perryville, Kentucky the son of Warren Albert and Beatrice Bottoms Crain.  He was a woodworker and cabinet maker.  He was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.  He was an Army veteran and a member of VFW and American Legion in Salem.

David was preceded in death by his wife:  Lela Fay Crain, a brother:  Carl Crain, a sister:  Liz Divine and his parents.  He is survived by a son: David Mark Crain of Austin, two daughters:  Sheila Smith (Bennie) of Salem, and Debra Hardin (Jeffrey) of Salem, four step-children:  Wendy Rhole, Chris Rhole, Jessie Cole, and Darrell Cole, a brother:  Dennis Crain of North Carolina, a sister:  Linda Collins of Campbellsburg, 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

There will be no services.
