Danny Eugene Morrow

Mr. Danny Eugene Morrow, age 70, of Salem passed away Saturday, December 30 at Baptist Health Floyd.

Mr. Morrow was born May 26, 1953 in Washington County the son of Don and Margaret Cress Morrow. From a young age he learned the value of hard work on the family farm. He would go on to graduate from Eastern High School Class of 1971. He then attended Indiana University Southeast in New Albany. Danny retired from Davis Brothers Oil Co. after 30 years and was a bus driver for East Washington School Corporation. He was a long-time member of Westside Church of Christ where he served as an elder.

Danny is survived by his wife: Cindy Costin Morrow they were married June 1, 1973. He is also survived by three daughters: Stephanie Soliday (Nathan) of New Albany, Aleisha Edwards (John) of Terre Haute, and Robin Morrow of Salem, a brother: David Morrow (Lisa) of Salem, his pride and joy grandchildren: John Mark Edwards, Russell Terry, Sadie Soliday, Nicolas Edwards, Raegan Edwards, Sabrina Terry, Jared Edwards, Avery Edwards, Carter Soliday, and Maddox Soliday, and one great-grandchild: Rue Marie Edwards.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8PM and Friday from 10AM-until time of service.
