Daniel J. Person

Daniel J. Person age 61 of Martinsburg passed away Thursday, December 20 at Hosparus Care Center in Louisville.

Mr. Person was born July 19, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky the son of Willard and Mary Rita Spalding Person. He served the United States Navy, and was a member of First Christian Church of Scottsburg. He found tremendous value and meaning in his work at W7 Global, and the friendships endured

a lifetime. His sustaining passion was the Big Blue Nation.

Daniel is survived by his beloved wife: Lona Person, three daughters: Courtney Bartlett (Thomas) of Salem, Stacey Cole (Levi) of Louisville, and Kaly Kramer (Wayne) of Salem, a brother: Kevin Person (Michele) of Mt. Washington, a sister: Carmel Person of Louisville, and 5 grandchildren: Layla, Aidan, Dawn, Brooke, and Holly. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1PM at Weathers Funeral Home. A private committal service will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11AM- until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Josephs Children’s Home or Southern Indiana Hosparus.
